About Condamine ASH Stud

Our stud is situated at Wongarbon, 23 Kms east of Dubbo in Central Western NSW, the stud was established in 1974 with the purchase of the stallion Regal Gift from Ray Merrick of Scone. Foundation mares were purchased from the Elfick Stud at Junee by Baerami Glimmer and Ross McPhee from Niangala, mares by Little Abbey. These mares were bred to Regal Gift, Elliots Creek Cadet, Sage King and Rays Swagman.

Today, with very careful consideration to breeding the best temperament, good looks and tons of ability, we believe we have achieved this goal with our current stallions, Rivoli Rex, Condamine Romano (by Romeo) and Rivoli Glen (by Rex). Producing progeny with all of these desired characteristics from mares by Rex, Abbey, Cadet and Reality lines.

Paul and I have been involved with horses since early childhood, competing at Pony Club competitions, Polocrosse, showing and campdrafting. This pursuit has taken us to so many towns in Queensland, Victoria & NSW, meeting fabulous new people and catching up with old friends.

Since 1992 we have been privileged to have Yallatup Rivoli Rex at the Stud. Rex as many know belong to Rose & Glen Gough from Proserpine. We have kept almost every Rex female we have bred, these being bred back to Romano (by Romeo).
